Benefits of Yoga

Yogabhyasa is a vast subject. It is very difficult to write in a condensed manner. How ever a brief technique is given here. Without learning the alphabets of any language, we cannot proceed to get the knowledge of that language.Similarly a Sadaka must know the basic knowledge about the Yoga. Tha basic knowledge is MAP. M stands for Mind, A stands for Asana whereas P stands for Pranayama.

BREATH IN is the first thing we do when we come to this world and the last thing we do when we leave this world is BREATH OUT. The period in between these two is called LIFE, during which we constantly breath in and breath out without any effort. Thus it is one of the most important functions of the body and unfortunately the most neglected one. Our breathing are normally shallow and irregular. The lungs are not used to their full capacity. So the full requirement of oxygen for the body is not met. By the practice of Pranayama, the breathing process is regulated because of the controlled methods of special breathing. By this the body gets the minimum requirement of oxygen and hence many diseases of the lungs and respiratory system are prevented and the general condition of health improves. So the life span increases considerably.
